Different Quality Medals and Medallions for Different Needs
This production process is ideal for large Medals and Intricate Medallion design or multi-levels or irregular shape. It will be more economical using Cast alloy production method comparing to die struck manufacturing process for large medals. The common Material used is zinc alloy composition, it is a hard material. For the same size and thickness as iron, brass or copper, Cast alloy medals will be slightly lighter in weight. A mold with the custom design is required to be made prior to mass production. The cast medals production method involved molten alloy injected into the mold cavity inside the mold with the custom design inside the cavity. Once the cavity is fully filled the cast badges or medals with the custom medallion design is ejected and ready for the next process in the manufacturing steps, such as deburring, polishing, plating and color filling and so on depending on your desired color requirement.
